The position of health policy analyst or senior policy analyst is holistically aimed at improving healthcare services and their availability to the general public. The set goals can only be achieved through the implementation of accurate analytical methods and cooperative projects with policymakers. One of the central aspects of developing the necessary policies for FPI’s broader work goals involves several methods. In that way, the primary approach of policy analysis includes a thorough selection of the optimal solution for managing affordable healthcare (Browne et al., 2018). Moreover, qualitative analysis of questionnaires and interviews aids in identifying the key issues of target population groups in receiving proper healthcare (Browne et al., 2018). Effective communication with local and national authorities puts the analyzed work into practice and requires the analyst to be aware of the mentioned policy methods.

The position of a health policy analyst requires the consideration of diverse population categories in the process of critically reviewing each policy. Analysis of political and economic factors in determining the extent to which an inclusive policy can be applied is one of the key skills a holder of this position must possess. A health policy analyst must then acquire valuable information from the general public and patients specifically to gather data for external use (Verguet & Jamison, 2018). Moreover, the professional should consider national resources and government aid to regulate the state budget and healthcare opportunities (Reynolds et al., 2020). One way a government-oriented approach can be integrated is through the standardized collection of data that can simplify analysis procedures. Therefore, the support from partner groups will allow for adequate budget planning for the development of inclusive healthcare policies.
