The efficiency of any team and its results depend on the interaction and the level of mutual understanding between all its members. Specialists who provide care for a patient should be able to understand each other and know strengths and weaknesses of every teammate. Only under these conditions, they will be able to delegate certain responsibilities to a specialist who is characterized by the appropriate level of skills and knowledge. The adherence to the given distributional pattern guarantees the positive final outcomes and patients speedy recovery as the most complicated tasks are performed by workers who know how to do it perfectly. In these regards, delegation should be considered one of the major concerns of professional nursing as it creates the basis for the provision of health care services in the most efficient way. At the same time, a person who delegates duties should have great competence and possess leadership qualities to persuade teammates that the chosen distributional pattern is the most efficient one and could serve as the guarantee of the patients recovery. There are numerous real-life examples that prove the idea that a team with a strong leader who is able to delegate duties in an efficient way shows better results and helps patients to recover faster.
