Modern challenges require modern solutions, in particular, in the field of medicine and healthcare. Now many health centers are trying to solve the issue of the availability of medical services to different segments of the population. Some people without insurance or with other difficulties may not always get the treatment they need, which leads to dire consequences (Shaw, 2018). In addition, in many organizations, these people face discrimination and other negative phenomena. Nevertheless, health centers are trying to work on this problem and help diverse and vulnerable populations to receive the necessary treatment or medicines. For example, about 62% of patients at health centers in 2016 belonged to racial or ethnic minorities (HRSA, 2018). Therefore, even without the ability to help everyone, such organizations do a meaningful job of providing people with health services.
The planet’s population is growing, so the health care system is under great strain. In addition, health centers must be prepared for surprises like a pandemic as they pose an additional threat to people. One of the most critical steps to solve these problems is funding from state and private institutions. This will help provide the centers with the materials they need and hire more qualified staff. It is also essential to provide modern equipment and regularly update it to avoid breakdowns and poor quality treatment (Ginzberg, 2020). Thought-out staff training will be another crucial step in preparing for potential challenges. In addition, the population must know where to seek help and have a real opportunity to receive it. This will enable people to access more reliable and better health care, and the health care system will not tolerate additional stress and expenses.
